I’ve been going back to work on my Master’s of Fine Arts with a focus on graphic design. This new series was part of my Advanced Typography class, and it was intense and fun.

I did a paper on contemporary artists whose work incorporates typography. Then I pulled small pieces out of their paintings to do paintings of my own. I ended up doing all 26 letters of the alphabet. This piece is based on the letter “O”, and the work of Stuart Davis. This was done in Adobe Sketch, and you can see the process here.
